Born and raised in Northern Virginia, Jaime Barnhart, CMP has been in the event planning and management industry since 2002. She has managed a wide range of events from intimate dinners for 15 to large association trade shows with more than 1,000 attendees and, of course, weddings, social events, and charity fundraisers. Jaime led the promotions and marketing for an international trade show of more than 6,000 attendees. She has worked with larges corporations, national associations, and local organizations on various event projects. Jaime has been a member of Meeting Professionals International her entire career and served on the Board of Directors of the Potomac Chapter for four years.
She loves the creative process of event management; taking a bare room and transforming it to tell the story of the event sponsors, mission, or guests of honor. In addition to event management and logistics, Jaime has a creative take on event marketing, utilizing graphics, web, social media, and print advertising to spread the word about events and causes.
